Crowd Verdict

Community Guidelines

Last updated: 29 July 2026

Crowd Verdict works because people tell the truth about awkward situations and get told, bluntly, whether they were in the wrong. Bluntness is the point. Cruelty isn't. These are the rules, and how we enforce them.

The rules

1. Don't expose anyone

No real names, workplaces, schools, addresses, phone numbers, social handles, or photos — not yours, and definitely not the person you're posting about. Change identifying details. "My sister" is fine. Her full name is not.

2. No harassment or hate

No slurs, no attacks on someone's race, religion, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age. Judge the behaviour in the story, not the person reading it. Telling someone "you were wrong here" is the app working. Telling someone what they are is not.

3. No sexual content

Conflicts about relationships are welcome. Explicit descriptions of sex are not. Nothing sexual involving minors, ever — that gets reported to the authorities, not just removed.

4. No threats or violence

Don't threaten anyone, don't encourage violence, and don't post content glorifying it.

5. Take self-harm seriously

Don't encourage self-harm or suicide. If a post suggests someone is at risk, report it with the Self-harm or suicide reason so it's prioritised. If you're the one at risk, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line — this app is strangers with opinions, not help.

6. Post real situations

No fiction presented as fact, no rage-bait, no reposting other people's stories as your own. No spam, advertising, scams, or referral links.

7. Don't game the credits

No multiple accounts, no bots, no farming credits with junk judgments. Credits are a scoring mechanic with no cash value; treating them as a target rather than a byproduct just degrades the feed for everyone.

8. Report honestly

Report content that breaks these rules — not content you disagree with. A verdict you didn't like is not a violation. Deliberately false reports can cost you your account.

How we enforce this

Anyone can report anything. Every post and every judgment has a button that opens the report flow. You can also block a user from the same menu — blocked accounts disappear from your feed entirely, and you can unblock them later under Me → Safety → Blocked accounts.

The AI Judge

Some judgments are written by an AI and carry an AI JUDGE label. It exists so a new question gets a response quickly instead of sitting empty. It's automated, it isn't reviewed by a human before it posts, and it can be wrong. It's held to these same guidelines — report it like you'd report anyone else.
