Bayhop
Terms of Use
Last updated: 11 September 2026
1. What Bayhop is
Bayhop helps guests on a yacht charter discover bays, harbours and island towns, pick the ones they would like to visit, and share a suggested trip with their captain. It is a planning and inspiration guide.
2. What Bayhop is not
It is not a navigational aid, not a chart and not a substitute for the captain's passage planning. It does not show depths, hazards or navigational marks, and must not be used to navigate.
3. The captain decides
Your captain and crew are responsible for the safety of the vessel and everyone aboard. Every suggested route, stop and schedule is a request to your captain, who may change it for weather, safety, permits or local rules. If you sail without a professional captain, you are the skipper and you are solely responsible; check everything against official charts, an official forecast and your own judgement.
4. Accuracy
Place information is compiled from open sources, third-party services and our own research. It may be incomplete, out of date or wrong, including positions, photographs, restaurant details and whether a place needs a permit or booking. Weather shown beyond the forecast range is typical weather for those dates, not a forecast. We make no warranty that any place shown is safe, open, available or suitable for your boat.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PowerStack Labs is not liable for any loss, damage, injury or cost arising from your use of Bayhop, including decisions about where to go, stay or eat. Use of the app is at your own risk.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the app for any unlawful purpose, and do not rely on it in an emergency. In distress, contact the coastguard on VHF Channel 16 or the local emergency number (112 in the EU and Türkiye).
7. Third-party content and attribution
Place photographs, details and reviews are provided by Google and shown with their authors' credit; they belong to their owners. Photographs from Wikimedia Commons are shown under their stated licences with the author named. Place positions and coastline data © OpenStreetMap contributors, licensed under the Open Database Licence (ODbL). Weather data from Open-Meteo (CC BY 4.0). Maps © Apple.
8. Changes
These terms may change; the date above will be updated.
